different is lonely

i'd rather be different
though lonely
than generic
or run of the mill
because eventually
people do get bored
of the sameness
and i,
i will die of boredom
of the monotony
i seek my kind
equally unique being
to fill the gap in my existence
till then, i survive this loneliness

parting is truly painful
i'll just run as fast as i can
so you won't see the tears
pearling at the corners
