I could drown
this sob underwater
so the echo won't resonate
within my soul
and shatter
this half pound of heart
deadening the ache
of this so called life of mine
while I keep the mask on
smiling and giggling
laughter or hidden tears
which would you rather?
my giggles or sobs?
